William T. Yanavitch II

Mr. William Yanavitch retired in December 2024 as the first Chief Human Resources Officer for Kinsley Enterprises, a family-owned organization with diversified interests in construction and real estate. Previously, he served as an Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Administration for Glatfelter, a NYSE-listed global manufacturing company, retiring from that role in 2017. He founded Yanavitch & Associates LLC, a successful human resources consulting firm serving family-owned, private, and public companies. His career also includes senior leadership roles with DENTSPLY Sirona, ITT Gould Pumps, and the Ingersoll Rand Company.

Mr. Yanavitch currently serves as a Director for the York Water Company—the oldest investor-owned public utility in the United States—including assignments to the Compensation and Executive Committees. Additional Board service includes the Commonwealth Fire Protection Company, KRB Machinery (Chairman), DART America, and the New Standard Corporation, where he also chairs the Compensation Committee.

A Pennsylvania native, Mr. Yanavitch grew up in Waverly, New York. He graduated from Cornell University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. His continued executive education focused on leadership, organizational strategy, talent management and succession, governance, M&A, crisis communications, and executive compensation.

Deeply engaged in community service, Mr. Yanavitch is the immediate past Chair of Penn Mar Human Services and the WellSpan York Health Foundation. He recently completed a two-year term as President of the Board of Governors for the Country Club of York and, in July 2023, was appointed as a Trustee of York College of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as chair of the Advancement Committee. Mr. Yanavitch serves on the Powder Mill Foundation Board. His prior chair roles include the York County Economic Alliance, Cultural Alliance of York, and Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania. In 2019, he served as Executive in Residence for the Penn State York Graham Fellows Program for Entrepreneurial Leadership and previously served on the Penn State York Advisory Board. He is also part of the community ownership group of the York Revolution baseball team.

Mr. Yanavitch has earned wide recognition for his professional and civic contributions. In 2012, he received the "Community Builder" Award from the United Way of York County, and in 2016, the York SHRM Society named him "Community HR Professional of the Year." He delivered the commencement address to Penn State York in May 2019. In April 2025, the York County Economic Alliance honored him with its lifetime Business Achievement Award. He frequently speaks on leadership and human resources topics.

Mr. Yanavitch resides in York, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Kimberly, on their horse farm. He is the proud father of three children—Vanessa, Michael, and Nicholas—and the grandfather of six: Knox, Rhone, Benjamin, Tanner, William, and granddaughter Ava Marie.
